Understand A large-scale national study
on mobility and digital technology

In 2015, Keolis launched a large-scale study on digital mobility in France. The initiative was ground-breaking in its scope, as well as in its methodology.
An unprecedented sample of almost 3,000 people was surveyed, between 15 and 85 years of age, from urban areas and rural communities across the country. All profiles were included, regardless of their level of digital familiarity or technological devices. The in-depth questionnaire explored some of the key issues of digital mobility, including travel habits, digital uses and digital mobility behaviours; expectations and needs in terms of digital assistance; and prioritisation of digital innovations.
The data collected provided exclusive insight into the different types of passenger profiles and helped Keolis match each one’s mobility habits and expectations with innovative digital solutions, tailored to their needs.
